Allergies mostly referred to as Contact Dermatitis, are a wide range of allergic reactions that manifest by causing the skin to swell, itch, and produce allergic symptoms. They can appear at any age but are most common in children, and can be prevented by careful parenting.

One of the causes of allergies is pollen, which is actually just the grainy material that grows along the edges of the grass, plants, or trees. They can cause people to get an allergic reaction to dust mites, tiny insects that live in the house, and feed off of the dead skin cells. Dust mites are generally regarded as a minor nuisance, but allergens, such as dust, can cause serious problems.

Another type of allergy is called hay fever and is triggered by exposure to allergens such as mold, dust, pet dander, pollens, and animals (such as cats) that emit allergen. It can cause a number of symptoms, including runny nose, sneezing, coughing, congestion, red and itchy eyes, scratchy throat, and a stuffy nose.

Allergic reactions can also occur to be found in food and the environment. Some allergens are taken into the body directly by ingesting them or coming into contact with them while cleaning or working in contaminated places.

The main reason why most allergies occur is because of allergens. In the case of certain chemicals, the substances are what trigger allergic reactions and need to be avoided for safety reasons.

There are many different types of contact dermatitis and their causes can be many but are all in general very similar. The rash is typically raised, itchy red patches on the face and hands, and it can come and go with little notice. You can easily treat it on your own or go see a doctor.

Some people have allergies to medications for both conditions, Dermatitis, and Eczema. This means that you could have serious problems. When allergic reactions become excessive, it may mean you have a condition that needs to be looked at as a possibility, rather than dismissed as just another allergic reaction.

Triggers are often specific to one area, such as pollen or mold. They can also be local; that is, they will not likely show up in another part of the country. You can find out if your reactions are from your specific triggers by looking at pictures of the places where they cause you to react.

Some of the foods that are reported to cause allergic reactions are listed. If you are having trouble with your allergies, take your list of foods to your allergist. Find out the specific allergens causing the reactions.

Certain foods can actually be helpful, especially in preventing and controlling allergies. These include citrus fruits, soy, wheat, egg, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, wheat germ, and milk. Since allergies are considered more a symptom than a disease, a person can live life without ever knowing that they have a problem.

There are many homeopathic treatment options available, and one of the best is a homeopathic antihistamine. Using allergy medicine such as Lamisil can reduce a person’s allergies considerably, and is an excellent addition to their daily medication.
